Looking in circles, frantically and knowing that nothing is familiar. Zooming around corners in hope that you'll somehow be able to find what you're looking for. Feeling as though you're trapped in a constant state of unfamiliarity forever. The first time I’d ever felt truly lost was ironically, on a ferry boat. Getting lost on a rather small boat is very possible and according to ten year old me; is one of the most traumatic experiences one can have. I was with my parents, coming home from an eventful trip to New York. Exhausted after our day of travel, we collectively decided to stay down in the car for the duration of the ride. Until I wanted a snack. At this point I was confident that I had been on a ferry enough to navigate my way around
