I went into high school when I was thirteen years old which again was a lot younger than most students. Being thirteen it was a huge accomplishment to make the varsity team especially since I would typically play against sixteen to eighteen year olds, which was really intimidating. I was on the team with my older sister who was a senior and it was awesome to play with her during her last year in high school soccer. Right before high school I finally hit puberty, it seemed like I was the last out of my friends but being so young for my age explains why. In this stage I feel that I am very independent and but didn’t know exactly what I wanted in life. I got my first job when I was sixteen at American Eagle and it made feel like I was essential and mature. Getting compliments from my managers really boosted my self-assurance and felt like I was doing my job right. This was also my favorite store to shop so it was hard to save my money and to not spend it on the clothes although the discount was so good, I was still learning how to manage my money. My mom became pregnant with my half-sister and I was not pleased at all because I thought she would really change a lot more than she in reality did. I imagined myself to be standoffish but now that she was born I forgot all about that so happy to have her even though she is crazy. I have never been that girl who knows what they want to do with their life and never thought about planning out my wedding. The more I experienced high school it opened me up to think about what I wanted to do in the future and I knew helping people would be involved. My mom is a social worker and works at the hospital on the labor care and delivery
