It was the summer of July 19, 2012 and to this day, I realize that I had the best week of my life. We have been planning this trip for a year and it has finally come. We were heading to Cooperstown, NY to live out a dream as a twelve year old travel baseball player, playing in the Cooperstown Dreamspark. This is the granddaddy of all baseball tournaments. Only twelve year olds can go to play here and live their dreams. Hints the name Dreamspark. The guy that had this brilliant idea isn't even from New York, he is from right here is Salisbury, NC. I pitched in a few of them and did real good. I played lots of different positions like right and left field, second baseman, and pitcher. We are two days away from the playoffs. They are getting ready to start, but first, we have the day off. Each team one day out of the week has the day off to go to the actual heart of Cooperstown. We saw it all. Everyone took the charter bus to Cooperstown, NY. We waited in line to get into the baseball hall of fame. We saw memorabilia from all the players from Cy Young, to Babe Ruth, to Pete Rose, to the players that are playing right now. For such a small building, it really did hold everything you could think of when it comes to baseball. After the tour of the hall of fame, we walked around Cooperstown getting shirts, food, and little pranks gifts. I’ll get to that
