Baseball was a turning point in my life. At first I was playing the sport for fun because my dad had signed me up. Little did I know that it would change me as a person and create who I am today. When I was in elementary playing the game for fun for a league that my dad had signed me up for, I never would have known that I would stand out from the rest of my teammates. Over the years that I would play the game, I would develop skills in getting better at being an outfielder and also getting better at being a base runner. Knowing that I had developed these skills, it would build up my confidence in that I actually wanted to play the game, not just to play because I was signed up.
