On 10/11/16 at 5:51pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to the 1180 Erickson Ave on a dog at large, no owner known/dog on dog or cat attack. I arrived at the location and was advised by complainant, that her husband was on the next street over following the dogs. The complainant contacted her husband who came home. I followed him to the 1000 block of Pierce Ave, where I saw a black pit bull and a brown and white pit bull loose. I took pictures of both dogs loose. I tried to capture the dogs, both dogs ran to 1155 Pierce Ave where a male minor opened the door and both dogs ran inside the house. I talk to dog owner Alexander Mcentire who stated that he owns the black pit bull and just took in the brown and white pit bull a few months ago due to the dog being a stray. I asked Mr. Mcentire for identification, Mr. complied. I advised Mr. Mcentire that I would return after I talk to witness in regards to his dogs attacking another dog. She came outside and saw the black pit bull and the brown and white pit bull attacking her dog. With the assistance of her next door neighbor she was able to get the dogs to run away. Ms. Kane brought her dog inside; her dog had a visible wound on its back. I took pictures of the injuries to Ms. Kane dog. Ms. Kane wrote out a statement of facts in regards to the incident. Ms. Kane will be transporting her dog to a veterinarian hospital for treatment. I spoke to Wanda Miller who witness the dog loose and attacking Ms. Kane dog. Ms. Miller stated that she was outside her resident washing her car, when she heard a commotion in the back of her house. She went to investigate and saw two dogs attacking her neighbor’s dog.
