I grew up in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Virginia called Cape Charles. Cape Charles is very small and remote. With only one grocery store, one pharmacy and one clinic. Everyone knows everybody and everybody is in everyone's business. In some ways we were all family and other ways we was each others enemy. For the most part we got along and did fun things. We went to the beach, we walked all over town, we listened to music and danced until we couldn't dance anymore. The best part of growing up in Cape Charles was going crabbing. We would wake up early in the morning, grab our raw chicken legs, a cooler to put the crabs in and string that we tied to the chicken leg to lure the crabs in. We always caught to many to eat.
