It looked like the whole of Shawnee turned out at the Santa Fe Depot late that day. Crowds gathered by the limestone building, an oddity resembling a Scottish lighthouse which now served as a historical museum. Gram, DS and Tracy putted up in the Nash only to find themselves swarmed by local and national news trucks, their spider-webbish antennas reaching high into the clear Oklahoma sky. "DS! DS! Richard? Mr. Straight? How is it to be back home again?" The Mayor of the City, a bloated little man, a hunter at heart and civic leader who lived his own code of Moral Re-Armament, personally ushered the group from the parking lot to a stage set up in front of the Depot's thick tower and multi-arched portico. "Let's see if I'm still a hero tomorrow or if the bullies will have their
