Being ignored and bullied is never fun. Alas, that is what happened throughout my childhood. Until I met my closest friends, but I’m getting ahead of myself. It all began in Kindergarten. I loved to learn new things, so I became excited for the first day. I lived in Italy with my dad, mom, and sister whom she loved very dearly. My mom helped pick out clothes and dad made me an amazing breakfast. After I ate my fill, I grabbed my backpack and waited for the bus. Once the bus came into view we all said our goodbyes, then I climbed into the bus. Skipping to lunch, when I went out for recess I met a boy who was by far larger and bigger than me. The boy started to push me around, but left to do something else. Later on he came back, but he threw a basketball at my face three times. After I got back home from school, I didn’t want to go to school again. No matter how much I pleaded my parents still made me go to school. After that I was not only bullied because i was short, I was also bullied because I didn’t know the alphabet, couldn’t read, and spell my own name. Few years later I went into second grade, wishing that I wouldn’t be bullied again. So when my teacher asked about my summer I lied. I was still mocked at for my height, but I didn’t think too much of it. That year I met some of my closest friends that are still with me today. But there is one person who changed my life, her name was Briauna.She became my best friend in only a couple of days. I now consider her my sister no matter what we go through. When I had a rumor started about me, she was there to stand by my side. She cheers me up when I’m low, and listens to my endless ranting. If it weren’t for her I don't know where I would be today.
