My Horrible Hospital Story

It was the first couple weeks of third grade. Everything was going great. But one day my stomach started hurting. It wasn’t like a normal stomach pain, it was worse.I felt a sharp pain in the left area of my stomach. It felt as if someone were punching me right in the gut. I went to the office and called my mom to go home. She picked me up and asked me what was wrong. I told her about the pain in stomach, she thought it was just the flu, but I knew it was something worse. I didn’t want to tell my mom that it hurt really bad because I knew she would take me to the doctor’s and I hate the doctor’s!

You can’t even stand up straight.” she yelled.
“Okay, it hurts but not that bad.”
“Where does it hurt?” she asked.
“Right here.” I pointed to where the pain was, she looked confused.

We finally arrived and my mom had to help me walk inside. She went and told the lady behind the counter what was wrong with me. She took us into this room where this nurse asked me different questions. “On a scale from 1-10 how bad is the pain?” I knew I had to answer truthfully.
“A 10!” I started to cry the pain was getting worse! They took me into a different room where I had to get a cat scan.

I lied there uncomfortably and listened to the SWISH! of the scary machine. We waited for about 30 minutes to get my test results. A doctor came in and explained that my apendix had just exploded and I have to go into immediate surgery. I burst out crying. I was scared, I didn’t understand what was going on or what was wrong with me.

As my mom was talking on the phone with my dad, a nurse came in and gave me a cup of disgusting looking brown stuff.
“Why do I have to drink this?” I ask my mom. “You have to drink it before you can go into surgery.” She said.
“But
