Have you ever felt the rushing wind on your face while twirling in the air? Well if so, then you have probably been on a roller coaster. This October was the first time that I have been on a roller coaster. A group of friends and I went to the haunt night at Worlds of Fun. It was quite an exciting experience. There were zombies and goblins walking around waiting to give you a scare. When we were on our way I was nervous, but then excited. As we all walk up me, Keeshawn, Paige Makenna, Cooper and Katie, we start to the first ride The Patriot. While we take the walk up to the Patriot I start to feel nervous. Paige, Keeshawn and I are waiting anxiously for our turn. The roller coaster comes to a stop and people get off as we get on. I sit in the middle of Keeshawn and Paige. We hang out by the Panda Express. When everyone has eaten we went to the maze. The maze’s name was The Boneyard. In the maze there were goblins and witches. All the goblins were around six feet tall and really buff. I wasn’t too fond of this maze because it was dark and scary, but well I went in it anyway. Paige, Makenna and I went in the spooky maze together, while the others went somewhere else in the park. Right at the beginning of the Boneyard, there was someone at the gate ready to scare us out of our shoes. Sadly I fell for it and so did the others. We jumped and screamed while the worker just laughed. During this spine-chilling time I was waiting for someone to jump out and scare me. It got kind of creepy when a goblin would walk behind you and breathe loudly. Most of the time it made me really uncomfortable, but that’s probably the goblin’s goal.
