A lot of kids get put in nerve racking situations and this time that kid was me the bottom of the third inning with one out and Jason and Mason on first and third.I was now up to bat I dug my feet deep into the batter's box nervous but also anxious I heard all my teammates cheering in the background saying let's go Tyse and let's go number 7.The pitcher is now in his windup and ready to deliver the first pitch. The pitcher reared back and pitched the ball, I got set and focused on the ball it was coming in fast and high so I let it go for ball one.I stepped out of the batter's box and took a practice swing and looked at coach for signs.I stepped back into the batter's box and dug my cleats into the dirt, I got set, then focused on the pitcher as he started his windup. The pitcher looked tired now the pitcher now pitched from the stretch and fired the ball it was way inside I backed out of the batter's box scarcely and it was a ball again the count is full now.I have to protect the plate and swing at anything close.I wasted no time to get back into the batter's box this time for some reason I felt hyped and the pitcher winded up and threw and it was a perfect pitch I swung and I got it on the sweet spot it was crushed I jogged around the bases and the ball ricocheted off the scoreboard and everyone went wild when I get to home plate my teammates were there waiting to congratulate me.This is a memory I will never forget for the rest of my
