I have always been Bishop’s friend, but now it is feeling like something more. In the past, I used to date Matt and never take risks, but now I am participating in Panic and starting to possibly develop feelings for my best friend of fifteen years. I am not the same person. Panic is changing me. This game could ruin me. In the second challenge, I hardly got out alive. We had to break into a house, however, the person living there was rather trigger happy, so to speak. I came so close to getting shot. At least Nat got to spend time with her new boyfriend, Dodge. Dodge has infiltrated into our friend group, since saving Nat when the police busted the first challenge, and her sprained ankle prevented her from making a quick getaway. Whoever stayed in the Graybill House the longest, moved on. I really “wished that Bishop had come” (Oliver 145). The Graybill House is the known haunted house of Carp that has not been lived in for years, since the Graybill family hung themselves in different parts of the house. Nat, Dodge, and I had packed supplies to stay the night. It was a little eerie, but we managed to not get too frightened. In the midst of my sleep, Dodge woke Nat and I up. The judges had decided to set the house on fire. Due to Dodge’s quick thinking, we were able to get Nat out of the house through the window, but I do not remember much after that. All I know, is I woke up in the hospital with Bishop by my side. He and Nat greeted me, but then Bishop blurted something hard to understand. I quickly learned what he said was,“‘The police are here”’(Oliver 170). Strangely, the news did not seem to bother me at all; I was happy, almost elated. Bishop and Nat were by my side and I realized I was not going to lose them just yet. Panic is meant to scare us so much, but to me, losing my best friends is even
