Good morning Mr. Chun and my fellow classmates today I will be talking to you about the NHL Draft. To start off, The NHL draft day could be quite stressful and nervous for many people like the general manager, the players,the parents and the scouting agents. Imagine the feeling of getting drafted first overall or getting drafted last. Nobody really cares where they end up as long as there living their dream as playing hockey in the NHL and getting paid. “ The day the devils drafted me was a great day... He was probably one of the best goalies to ever play the sport with 1266 games played, 1024 gs ,with 641 wins and 397 losses. He doesn't care what team he's on or what line he's on, he only cares about hockey. To conclude that's why nobody cares where they end up or land as long as there on a team. Furthermore, The rules of the draft are quite simple: the draft consist of seven rounds and each team received one pick per round and teams can trade their picks away and trade for picks. The fourteen teams that do not make the playoffs are eligible for the Draft lottery.If you won the Stanley Cup you get the last draft pick. Any North American player who turns eighteen by September fithteen and does not
