I had never been cut from anything. Until this past summer when there was tryouts for school sports. I had always made a team when it came to soccer, dance, and even gymnastics. Even when it came to volleyball I had always expected to make a good team. I never thought that I was the best. People always complimented me saying that I was good. Those compliments always gave me a little bit of confidence. Which also helped ease the butterflies in my stomach.
