When I was about four my parents took me to my sister’s soccer game. I was interested in the sport and wanted to be better at it than sister. I told my parents and the next year they put me on a rec team the next year. I played on that team for two seasons and then my Dad, who also coached my sister, started to coach me. The team we formed was called Fireballs. I met a lot of my friends on that team and I still am, But as the years went on one thing become increasingly obvious, and what was my foible? I was slow like, I was the speed of a snail trying to run a marathon through peanut butter slow.
