This year I went on vacation with my family to Outer Banks, North Carolina. Going to the Outer Banks has been a tradition on my dad’s side for years. They’ve been going there since the 1940’s. When my family went there to the Outer Banks this year I kept thinking about how generations of my family were here before. It’s strange for me to think about how long my family has been going there.

This year, we decided to drive down. We were staying in Duck, which is a city we have stayed in for almost all of our trips.
