My First Time Going White Water Rafting and Ziplining in Colorado

We were gliding through the rapids and sloshing back and forth like a slushy. We could see the rapids coming to a close which was a relief because we were being tossed like pizza dough. When we suddenly hit a huge rock that knocked every one of us out of our seats. It was very startling because we were not expecting the rock to be in the way of the raft. We were the only raft out of the 12 to hit the big rock.

We were almost done with the rapids when there is another big rock in our path that we couldn't avoid. It was pretty tall and we ended up getting stuck on it. We all had to jump to one side of the raft to try to get off of the rock but nothing seemed to be working. Finally we managed to get our way off of the rock by working as a team. It was fun to be stuck because we got to jump back and forth like frogs. When we got off of the rock we were all really proud of ourselves because it took a while to get ourselves off of the rock. Then we paddled the rest of the way to get to the area to head back to the main building. We were all soaking wet and very cold but we did not get any towels so we had to wait till we got back to the motel which would be about 45 minutes.

Overall I had a really fun time going rafting and ziplining. It was a great experience to get to do all of these fun things. It was also a great way to spend time with my family. We definitely faced some challenges along the way but still had a blast. I hope I get to go back there sometime soon and I hope it will be even more fun than the first
