Growing up in Cuba taught me many valuable qualities. I learned to be humble, responsible, courageous , generous, and presistent. I come from a family that knows that dedication, sacrifices and hard work is needed to reach goals and sucess. I went from four people living in a one room house to migrating to the United States where I learned that a better world is possible. For as long as i can remember, I have always wanted to be in the finance field. In the second grade in Guantanamo, Cuba math was a topic I excelled in. I received numerous awards for my outstanding work and leadership. I was appointed monitor of the math class in fifth grade, this meant that I was the best student in my math class and I helped other students study.
