As the fall semester of my junior year closes, I have come to realize how I have grown both in Academic success and as a global citizen. For an 11th grade field trip, our class had the opportunity to see the movie “He named me Malala” which shows the discrimination against women’s education in the middle east. In my AP English Language and Composition class we were assigned to complete a Job Shadow project that will gave us an insight to a career we have an interest in.
Although I have heard the name Malala and her story, that’s all I really knew about her. Our junior class had the opportunity to watch the movie, “He named me Malala” which was about how Malala stood up against the Taliban and risked her life to protest for women’s education.
