“It was less than a second, maybe half a second, but it changed everything.” That evening Monday night I was on my way home from work listening to the cubs game on the radio. I had to make a quick stop at the grocery store to pick up some food for dinner. Then stopped at the gas station to fill up on gas.
When I got home it was about 6:30 P.M. I grabbed a cold drink from the fridge, and went to go relax out on the porch waiting for my brother John to get home from the hardware store. Twenty minutes passed and he was still not home. It then became an hour and he still was not home. I began to get very worried. He had not answered my text message either. The rest of my family was also wondering where he was at, hoping he would be home soon.
