During the past eight years I have known my dad, he always told me " Nothing worth having comes easy, so you have to work hard if you really want it." Then I didn't interpret his words because I had no goals for myself, nothing to work hard for. My junior year of high school, I thought of those exact words. In Algebra II, I decided to raise my grade above a 80. I worked and sought help if I didn't understand a concept. By the end of second semester, I had worked diligently to earn that 94 average- a significant improvement from the 70 I had made first semester.
When I was admitted into Frontier High School, I immediately got my act together. First I started to take note of assignments that needed to be done, and when I needed to do them.
