Have you ever made a choice in your life that was so big and life changing that it has changed your whole life forever? Well i have. I made the choice to try out for the volleyball team in Desoto and I am so glad I had that wonderful opportunity. I know this may sound like something so small and and not important but trust me it was much more than just that. I have hit a bunch of balls, had a lot of purple and black bruises, and have been through so many pairs of knee pads I can’t even count. I have been playing volleyball for 5 years but this coming year is my 6th. This year we actually had to try out in order to make the team where as the other years we were just automatically on the team and they would just go from there, and guess what I made the team! I can not wait for this in coming year it is going to be so enjoyable! “Beep, Beep, Beep” went my alarm clock. UGHHH!! I did not want to get up. Suddenly I remembered it was Saturday September 14, and it was the day of volleyball tryouts. I had to hurry up and get ready. I was excited, nervous, and grumpy all in one because I mean who wouldn’t be grumpy having to wake up at 6:00 on the dot on a SATURDAY morning!!!! I could feel the jitters of dancing butterflies in my stomach because I was so nervous that I wouldn’t qualify for the team and this was …show more content…
Since then I have made tons of new friends, grown stronger in my faith with Jesus Christ, and have become the really amazing volleyball player I am today. I am so glad I took the challenge in the rocky road to try out for the team. If it wasn’t for my amazing, hard working coaches I have and the coolest friends I probably wouldn't be the person I am today. I never would have knew that the littlest things turn into the biggest experiences if it wasn't for this choice. Have you made any choices that have changed your life
