I was raised in a home in which fights ensued every week, but this struggle was something that molded me in a way that was for the better. From birth I struggled with trying to figure out which parent I was supposed to love more or even live with. My parents tried there hardest even after being divorced to raise me and my three older siblings the best they could.
In my early childhood, I can remember times when I’d hide in my brother’s arms as my parents fought, verbally and physically, and cried wondering “Why?”. I tend not ask either one what the cause was, but from these battles I learned to never to use my hands in place of words to argue with others.
