Personal Narrative: How Technology Changed My Life

I have actually witnessed technology transfer into different things I would not have expected. I grew up with a Gameboy, Nintendo, and a fake Barbie laptop, which I thought, was the real thing compared to the ones seen on television. Technology has tribute to the person I am now by being more social, active, and focused. Thanks to technology, I am more into being social. For an example, I love having my Twitter. It makes me feel like there are people who do relate to me. Such as what they post, pictures, and videos. Another great thing about socializing would have to be meeting new people. I am always on the go everyday therefore my phone is active. For instance, when I am at school and a class gets cancel instead of having to go home I just stay in the cafeteria and watch my favorite shows on my phone. I do not need to waste gas and go home if I am able to do everything on my device. Another way technology has kept me active is by having fitness apps. It comes in handy because it is able to keep track on how much I walked throughout the day or if I need to improve more on exercising. I am able to have reminders for appointments and things to do for each specific date. If it were not for my phone keeping me up to date, I would be a wreck. It helps me stay even more focus because when I need to get some homework done or email my professor I could easily do it without being distracted. When you have everything, on your device you honestly do not need to worry about thing. Being able to stay focus on your device has become such a great advantage if anything. I am more in tune with my technology now because of all the good shows and games. Each week on a certain day I cannot wait to see what is going to happen next, it keeps me glued on
