Just as Eleanor Roosevelt once said, the future of this country will be determined and changed by those who dare to dream, and dare to believe in those dreams. I dream of an America that will be different from its history, while still appreciating and learning from it. I hope to oneday see all citizens of this country united, regardless of who they are and where they come from. I dream that America will help to bring peace not only to itself, but to the world; I dream that every citizen living in these United States will be truly American in every sense of the word. This is the America I dream of, and this is the America I believe in.

So being born in 2002, I have therefore never been alive in a time when America was not involved in a war. Of course many people have this dream, but I truly dream and believe that one day, the world will be at peace. I dream that not only will we be at peace among ourselves, but abroad as well. Many people dream of world peace, but I think that to truly dream is to believe, to believe in world peace and to believe in our country’s ability to help achieve this peace. My dream is that one day my children will grow up in a different world than i did. I would like for the next generations to grow up knowing peace, rather than war.

My final dream for America is a dream that I truly hope every person shares. I dream that one day every citizen of the United states will truly be American. The beautiful thing about being an American is the fact that it is not defined by who you are, but by how you live.
