Identifying the purpose of your life is one of the hardest thing you'll ever be forced to face at such a young age. I have never been good at making a decisive decision as to what it is I actually want, which as you can imagine made it even harder for me to even fathom what it was I wanted to pursue potentially for the rest of my life. If I were to put my life into a metaphorical state, it would be something along the lines of my life is when you are trying to find your glasses and you've looked everywhere for them only to discover that they were right there on the shelf in front of you the whole time. The story where i gained years of experience not only working with her at home, but in the classroom, along with her fellow disabled peers. The story where I realized that I wanted to teach special Ed and help others not because it was something I had to do or could do but something I want to do. The things i learned about growing up with bonnie and coping with her special needs are things that teachers have to do every single day.
