Personal Narrative: Interning At Heartland

Interning at Heartland in a consecutive series from spring to summer has taught me a tremendous amount! It taught me about myself personally and professionally. I now see a lot of my strengths but am also able to acknowledge my weaknesses. Gail, my supervisor, has taught me the ins and outs of hospice care from office tasks and visits to so much more. She also helped me to see things in myself that I didn’t see in myself before. I have become more confident in my abilities and am ready to be immersed deeper into the many different opportunities that are available out there. I feel this experience has done a great job of introducing me to tasks that would be required in any office setting and for that I am thankful. For my next internship I
