“It’s A Girl!”. On July 20th, 2000 Katrina Renae McIntosh was born. At the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio at 4:35pm. The name Katrina is not a generation passed down name but it does have great meaning to it. My grandmother’s name is Regina, and my mother’s name is Sabrina. Do you see it ? They names rhyme because of the -ina. My mother thought it was a great idea to keep it going by naming me Katrina! I was the youngest in the family, so now I have all the attention from my family members. I had the spotlight and I sure was going to use it. My first years finally being able to see the world was amazing. It was like the world was my canvas and I was the artist just ready to show everyone my masterpiece. I had a huge imagination! I’m talking about being a worker at McDonalds with my playset, being the new Tyra Banks for America’s Next Top Model, having cool beach parties with my barbie dolls, being a mother to my Baby Alive, and being the best weather girl anyone has ever seen. …show more content…
I had scarlet fever. Scarlet fever is a bacterial infection which caused me to have a sore throat, fevers, and a horrible cough! It was like strep throat but it took longer to get treated for. It felt horrible not being able to play around and not have the energy to even get up and go to the bathroom. Eventually, I got better and went back to my old playful ways. Hearing my family talk about my childhood always make me feel special. But, some stories they tell I wish they would keep. My family loved making home videos, I know there are a few floating around somewhere of me.
