I jolt awake from the sound of humans talking. Oh no, I thought. This is the day when the little monsters’ will devour my insides. It is Jack’s birthday party! I am too young to die. A couple of days ago, I was bought from the store. The family found me in the back of the store. It took me so long to get to the back of the store. All that hard work was for nothing. The family consisted of a dad, a mom, and one child. The child looked around five years old. The hyper child was about to bounce off the walls. He had murky brown hair and sky blue eyes. The family glanced at me and laughed. I felt extremely embarrassed. Apparently, the family thought I looked funny. I am shaped like a watermelon slice. I have a reddish-pinkish body filled with black as coal seeds. Also, I have a green, long head. How do I look funny? The dad picked me up with every ounce of power he had, and he put me in the shopping cart. His name was Dale. The mother’s name was Anne, and the child’s name was Andy. …show more content…
Something wakes me up from my brief daydream. The party was going to start. In my head, I am slowly counting down my death. I have about an hour to live. Dale picks me up, and hangs me up on some kind of hook. The hook is piercing my skin, and I can feel my insides coming out. Dale puts a piece of tape on my wound, and it slowly helps stop the
