Personal Narrative: Joining A Soccer Team

When I was little I grew up around siblings that played soccer and I always wanted to join in and be just like them. So when I was in 3rd grade my mom decided to put me on my school’s soccer team. I was so excited to finally do something just like my brothers and sister. I played on that team for about 2 years until my parents made the decision to move to this small town called beaufort in the summer of 2011. I was super sad that i moved at least an hour away from my childhood friends that I've known my whole life, but my mom went on a search for another team and luckily we found a rec team before school started. After a year or so, our team joined into a club called Four Rivers Football Club. (FRFC) When we joined the club, we had two practices during the week and were getting good training from the high school Webster’s coach, who I've known since I could crawl. The training we got stayed the same until about 2 years ago when we bumped to 3 nights of training with the coaches and other teams that just joined. We usually practiced with the older girls, that were in high school, and their coach, Dave Clark, asked me, and Ella Thompson, to play for them during a 8v.8 winter league, and of course I obliged and played for them. During the summer of 2016, Dave Clark asked us again to play with them and I agreed. By now I was playing on two teams, one against 16 year olds and another against 19 year olds, and I also had club training so i ended up practicing 5 nights in a row every week up until the beginning of October. In the beginning of October, club training came to a stop but i still had three nights of practices, saturday mornings and tuesday and wednesday nights. I recently made the decision to finish the season with the team i was on for 4+ years and go full time with the older
