“Live life like there’s no tomorrow.” I hear this saying every so often and it admonishes me to do as so. A legacy is something you leave behind to be remembered by. I want to be remembered as a hard working, smart, athletic, and intelligent student. I would prefer my major accomplishments to include satisfying grades, as well as doing excellent in sports. I want people to be inspired by my accomplishments. Some impacts I want to initiate on the school and even the world are making classrooms better-learning environments and designing buildings and mansions for people as an architect in the future. Therefore, there is less of a chance of myself leaving a legacy if I don’t work to my full potential to achieve my goals. I have a few goals that I hope to achieve by the end of this year. One essential goal of mine is to earn my way into either Marlboro High School for the Business program or Manalapan High School for the Science and Engineering Program. To achieve this goal of mine, I will work as tough as I can, and spend extra time on important classes, so that teachers will recommend me for the high schools. Furthermore, I will also spend as much time as I can playing basketball. I want to join the Eisenhower basketball team this year. *For example, I will try to arrange time in my day to work on my basketball skills on my driveway. When I hopefully achieve these goals, they will be considered my major or greatest accomplishments for the past year. Some people think $100,000 is a whole lot of money. Others think 1 million is. It all depends on what you value. To me, success is knowing that I did the best I could and tried my strongest to achieve my goals. Win or lose, I will be proud. If I don’t move forward onto playing for the Eisenhower basketball team or don’t reach my goal of joining either of the high school programs, so be it. I did my best. There will be an outstanding amount of more opportunities to come in my future. Maybe it leads me in a better direction. School and basketball are not my number one priorities, though. The best things in life, are not things at all. My family’s health and happiness are my main concern. I don’t just value education and sports, I also value people such as family and friends. Every day you should think about what, as well as who is important to you. Don’t trap yourself in attempting to achieve your goals so much, that you are not spending time with people you love. It is easier to succeed when you know what success is to you and commemorating your values on the
