Personal Narrative-Lost In The Bahamas

Lost in Paradise When I had looked up the Bahamas I saw serene waters, little to no tourists, and clear sunny skies. All was true…except for the serene water and lack of people part. But I can tell you one thing, it was definitely sunny. I could feel my face turning red like vine ripe tomatoes as soon as I stepped outside and the sticky wind blowing on my skin.
There were a lot of people all around us when we got to the Atlantis Waterpark. Me being only eight at the time, my parents still had to hold my hand just to make sure I didn’t get lost in the crowd. There were people of all ages, big and small, of all colors and races. They were all lined up at the ticket booth, as we were. When we finally got our wristbands and stepped inside, I was in awe. There were so many colorful slides and I didn’t know where to begin.
My family and I rode some of the slides and then decided to go to the reputable “Lazy River”. My parents decided to wait for my brothers and I at the exit way. So they told my brother, who was fifteen at the time, to hold onto my inner tube and make sure nothing happens. It honestly

I then came to a fork in the road with a lifeguard standing in the middle. When I got closer he asked me, “Left or right?” I could feel the people behind me starting to push so, thinking both sides led to the same path, I chose right. I then was escorted onto a conveyer belt, while still seated in my inner tube. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I had a feeling something was really wrong. I looked to the left of me and saw a slide. This slide was fifty eight feet to ground level before you are propelled upward through a water coaster of twisting tubes. I followed the conveyer belt with my eyes to its end. To my angst, it was that slide I had just seen. I could feel my stomach drop. Uncontrollably, I began to cry and looked around me to see if there was any way out… there
