Personal Narrative: Moving To America

“What really!”, I screamed, that was the day my parents decided to move to America. I was excited to go to the America but I still missed my whole family in Korea.
My family went to America taking a 19 hour plane ride. I arrived in America, and my family went to Seattle to go check out our house.
My mom looked everywhere in the house and told my dad that she like the house. Although when I saw her face it didn’t look like she actually did.
That afternoon I asked my mom, “Mom do you actually like this house?” she shook her head.
About 5-6 months later me and my brother’s school results came out. But sadly we got into different schools, which made my mom hard to drive both me and my brother (there was no bus system there in the district).

Our family was wondering where to move next, and then at the same time one of my dad’s friend called him, “Hey I personally recommend coming to Mercer Island”. So we moved to Mercer Island with all the informations that we found, specially because of the better education. We got our first house, and suddenly the floor bumped up and all of our family members kept on tripping on it. “Dad I feel uncomfortable in this house”, I said. Again we decided to move, not away from Mercer Island but another house in the island. We got our next house, and the house doesn’t get even a single sign of sunlight. The house was so dark (the trees cover every window). Then our family had a meeting again, to move to a new house that is not dark and we actually found one that was perfect for us. We moved to that house and it was perfect for everyone, the sunlight came in every morning and it was so quiet outside.
Then suddenly my mom’s friend recommended us to Kirkland because of their education system. We had a ton of discussion again, should we stay in Mercer Island or move to Kirkland. “Hearing of the educational system, Kirkland sounds really good”, said my dad. So we decided to move to
