Personal Narrative: Moving To Canada

When I was 5 years old my parents had moved to Canada from Pakistan. It was really hard for us, we didn’t know anybody there. My older sister and I were very little at that time so it did not impact as much as it did to my brother who was fifteen years old and my oldest sister who seventeen. I am the youngest in my family. I barely even remember my first time in Canada. Talking to people was hard because none of us knew how to speak English, everything was very different. I had in lived Canada for ten years, so it was my home. But my parents did not like it as much as I did, they always missed their home which was Pakistan. After living there for 9 years, the city we lived in was in recession so my dad had to quit his job. He also quit his job because he got a better offer from Pakistan. My parents were so excited to go back, but the kids weren’t. We had adapted to living in Canada and it was our home now. I felt angry, it finally like I was home and now I had to leave again. He passed the ball and I looked forward, there was no one near me. All I had to do know was to run and kick the ball into the goal. I was out of breath as I took my last step and kicked the ball as hard as I could. It went past the goalkeeper and right into the net.
