I was born in Birmingham, Alabama to my wonderful parents and then moved to China to live with my grandparents. After spending roughly 3 years in China, I came back to the states and moved to Melrose, Massachusetts, which is approximately a 40 minute drive from Needham. After spending all of my elementary years there, my family and I moved here when I was in 6th grade, so I am still relatively new to Needham. Moving to Needham has profoundly changed our family. Even if there were no “corrections” needed by the teachers, I would and will always go over any errors I made and review them. This trait is something I am proud of because it consistently puts me in the mindset of doing better and improving and not just settling in on something that is “good”, but rather something “excellent” or the best that I can make
