` “Over 14.5 million people immigrated to the America during The Great War, me being one of them. I am traveling to the America to start a new life, my mother had arrived there only a few months earlier. She left my father and I here in Great Britain so I could continue with school and so my father could serve in the war. One day on my way back from school, I glanced over at our our mail slot to see that it was full, I reached to see that there was a letter addressed to me. The letter had the British Royal Army insignia on it, the letter had stated that my father was MIA. Then I stepped outside I took in a big deep and told myself that everything was going to be fine. Then I sprinted to the harbor, as I ran I felt the breeze hit my face. I finally made it to the harbor, I bought my ticket and was headed to Ellis Land . And now I am here sir in your taxi.The taxi diver tu “ Okay kid I don’t care what your story just tell me where the heck you are going”!
