Personal Narrative-My First Hockey Team

One cold winter's day, Coach Steve, a local hockey team coach, needed a call up for his hockey team. His goalie had gotten injured the day before in practice. Steve had been calling many parents asking for permission to let their children play hockey as goalie for the weekend with his team, but unfortunately all had refused to let their children play. Coach Steve had ran out of options and had turned to his last player on his list, Billy Ottersome. Billy was a boy who had gone to Coach Steve's son, Oliver’s, school. Coach Steve had remembered Billy mentioning that he liked hockey and had assumed that Billy played. Steve called Billy’s home number and gotten an answer right away. “Hello?” Billy asked.
“Hi Billy, it's Steve Kory, Oliver’s dad.”
“Hi Mr. Kory! How are you?”
“I’m doing okay! I have a big favor to ask you. The hockey team that I coach needs a goalie for the weekend and I was wondering if you wanted to fill that spot,” Coach Steve asked nervously.

But, I have never played goalie, or hockey for that matter.”
“At this point, I just need you to show up, and I will have all the equipment waiting for you at the front of the arena. Okay, well, see you tomorrow Billy. Bye.”
“Okay, thank you so much! I can’t wait! Bye Mr. Kory.” The next morning, Coach Steve woke up to a blaring alarm clock. His hockey game was in one hour and thirty minutes. He had just enough time to get all of Billy's equipment in the car. Steve had arrived to Billy, ecstatically waiting for Steve to show up. Billy greeted Coach went straight into the changeroom. Coach Steve introduced Billy to the team and left. Billy sat down knowing nothing about the hockey rules, or anything about hockey. He was as clueless. Fortunately, Billy got some help from the boys in the changeroom.
“So, how long have you played hockey for?” said one of the teammates.
“For like, ever!” Billy
