Personal Narrative: My First NFL Team

Walking up and around the ramps at the Heinz field, hearing people yelling and arguing which team was better. Being at a giant popular stadium with so many people was really worrying me and making me nervous, but I was still so excited to be at my first NFL game watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers play. “Welcome to Sunday Night Footbaall!” The announcer shouted. Everyone in section 521 in nosebleed seats started cheering and going wild. Suddenly my mom and I heard faintly, “Go pack go, Go pack go!” which was unusual to hear in Steeler Nation, then we heard,
“Here we go Pittsburgh here we go…” my Aunt Becca and Karli joined in and chanted with everyone else. My Mom and I had our Packer hats on, Karli was wearing

I was craving popcorn so Aunt Becca and I went to the vendors to get in line. There were so many people I started to get anxious and worried because I didn’t want to get lost or lose my aunt. We stood in line for about 10 minutes and didn’t even move on step. I sacrificed my popcorn to go back to the game and watch the second half. I hadn’t sat in my seat until the game was over because I was so intense. The game was tied 28-28 until the last 13 seconds. Steelers got a kick and scored 3 points. The final score was 31-28 Steelers. All of the Pittsburgh fans were jumping around and cheering because they were happy for the win. Although I was disappointed I started to clap to be a good sport. It was time to leave and walk back down the 6 flights of ramps which were 3x more crowded than before. Finally we on the ground and had to wait for all of the cars to pass so we could cross the street. There were so many people packed together rambunctiously across the crosswalk to make it to the “T”. I was nervous and frustrated because the police we directing the crowds and making people go up and around to get in line. I just wanted to get back to my Aunt’s house because I was tired and nervous with all of the
