Personal Narrative: My Journey To A Post College

College is a transitional period to adulthood, and I believe that in order to truly take advantage of that progression I must accomplish several things in the process. For example, during my college years I would like to absorb as much knowledge as possible through internships, my classes, and service opportunities. I believe that these three things will be beneficial to me post college by broadening my knowledge of the aerospace field. Helping me to develop new ideas, my enlarged abilities will raise the standards of modern rocketry. I feel as if in today's world most subjects that are engineered are not done to the best degree possible and my mission is to refine industry to produce nothing but superiority. I intend to achieve the expertise to change the world in my years at college. Although my goals may seem lofty, I believe that with hard work, self-drive, persistence, a positive environment, and exceptional role models my ideas of what I would like to accomplish will become my future. Having been active in several clubs, I have been introduced to service opportunities and have seen the lengths that it reaches to. Seeing the impact of service makes me want to continue this practice throughout college. I feel that volunteering has made me a more versatile and understanding woman. I would like to continue to better myself through new experiences while bettering others. I would also like to leave a positive impact on my community. I plan to be apart of service opportunities in college because I believe that I need to be not only active academically, but also in society.
