A legacy is how people will remember you. Many people will have their own legacy that they will leave behind, whether it’s positive or negative. People will own up to it, or try to run away from it. I want my legacy to be well known and effective in a positive way. I want teachers to honor me for the type of student I was and talk positively about me to the upcoming students. I also want to be known for being a great athlete and for having good sportsmanship. By the end of eighth grade, I’ll hopefully be known for the great things that I did during this school year.

To me, what it means to grow is to develop into a very mature and responsible person. Leaving a legacy behind would be pointless if you didn’t set goals for yourself, grow from them, learn from your mistakes, and to overcome challenges that head your way. One goal that I want to achieve is to be accepted into the NJROTC program at Colts Neck High School. I will achieve this goal by getting at least highest honors or honors on my report card for each marking period, get more than one recommendation letter from a teacher or staff member in the school based on the type of student and person I am, and I will try my best to score higher than an 80% on my tests and quizzes. I also participate in activities outside of school like being part of a travel softball team and participate community services. I believe that volunteering will stand out on my application for high school.
