Personal Narrative: My Love Of Fall

When I first saw this prompt posted this morning, I was so happy because I absolutely love fall. All of the seasons have different reasons as to why I like them, but fall might just be my favorite season. To be honest with you, I could probably go on forever about all of the reasons why fall is amazing, but here is a list of just a few that I could think of.

1. The world looks so much more colorful in the fall. I know that may seem like a weird thing to say, but I swear that it’s true. The leaves turn into magnificent shades of red, orange, yellow, and gold that look so stunning when the sun hits them. At the same time, there are still colorful flowers that are in bloom that seem to combine summer and fall into this weird family reunion.
2. It’s finally not too cool and not too warm to sit outside and drink a hot cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or apple cider.
3. The sound that the leaves make when you crunch them beneath your feet when you’re walking on the sidewalk. Also, raking all the leaves and jumping into the big pile of them is a great source of joy and entertainment no matter how old you get.

HALLOWEEN! It’s the one time per year where the whole entire season of fall is connected with the idea of spooky things. Halloween is my favorite holiday for many reasons, such as the fact that some people get so creative when thinking of a costume, how to decorate their house, and the tradition of the holiday has always interested me.
