At the age of 12, I stepped into a physical therapy clinic for the first time to meet with Nate Stier. It was the day after my ACL reconstructive surgery and he informed me that we’d be working together until I was able to play soccer again. The remaining days of the recovery process were physically and emotionally demanding. Despite the unwavering support from the people in my life, there were moments where I didn’t feel capable of improvement.
