Personal Narrative: My Skiing Day

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The flashing blue lights on the alarm clock read in large characters 5:30 am. Alex Minkoff quickly awakened from his sleep and turned off the alarm with a brisk smack of the hand. He jumped out of bed energetically, careful not to disturb his wife, Macie, then dedicated a few moments to stretch and proceeded to get ready for the day to come. This day will be the first of a five day skiing trip.

After putting on an after putting on blue jeans, a Nirvana T-shirt, and black socks, Alex went downstairs to the kitchen of his house to grab his daily apple and set it out on the counter. He then went outside for a breath of fresh air and to check for is three friends that should be picking him up shortly.

“Ahhhhh, what a beautiful day.” he told himself.

After the four of them ate breakfast everyone played a couple card games, and kept the fire comfortable. Later on Jim brought up sleeping arrangements because he had forgotten he had even chosen a room already.

“By the way, I chose the smallest room, that’s the one down the hall on the left,” Jim explained. “In my opinion Toby and Jenna should get the master bedroom considering they’re married, it just makes sense that way.”

“I agree, sounds like a plan to me. Just a quick reminder, don’t forget to put your boots by the fire so they’re warm for tomorrow,”said Alex.

“Awe, you guys are so sweet, thank you,” said Jenna.
