Personal Narrative: My Top Strengths

Everyone has different core values that dictate who they are and how they live their lives. My values happen to aline with Smith and Nephews’, as my Gallup strengths emulate their view on performance, innovation, and trust. My top strengths; communication, woo, strategic, achiever, and includer, are what makeup who I am, which is a stabilizer. Since I am an overachiever and very strategic, I have extremely high standards for myself and others, so I always place the responsibility upon myself to insure the outcome meets my standards and gets done efficiently. I am very proactive, as I always try and stay busy with theses tasks because being an achiever, I find great satisfaction being productive. With communication, inclusiveness, and woo being among my top strengths, I love and am skillful at developing new, personal relationships built on trust and respect. As defined by Clifton Gallup Strengthsfinder, “people strong in the Woo theme love the challenge of meeting new people and winning them over. They derive satisfaction from breaking the ice and making a connection with another person.” My mother used to always laugh at how I couldn't wait to go back to school so that I could make new friends. Everyday at the beginning of a new school year, I would update my family on how many new friends I made that day, because building relationships has, and always will, give me happiness.
