Personal Narrative: My Trip To Aruba

Everyone in my immediate family has always been involved in sports. My dad played basketball, football, and ran track, and my mom played softball and basketball. While in high school my older sister ran cross-country, participated in powerlifting, and played basketball. Now, my younger brother is on our school’s varsity football team as a sophomore. But when it came down to me, I was always never flourished in any type of sport that I tried; until I left the country. The summer before my senior year I was fortunate enough to travel to Aruba with my Godparents, and stay for an entire week. Before this trip I had never left the country or even flown in a plane. To say that I was excited was an understatement. I planned to go deep-sea fishing,
