The typical image of a family depicted through the media is a group of individuals around a dining table, all with similar features and plastered smiles. My idea of a family, however, is a group of people who exhibit unconditional love and support, regardless of how much genetic material is shared. Although we share no DNA, the family I have come to find is my YoungLife community, because they have been my greatest support system in high school, as well as the proponents of my personal growth.
