Jamestown was a miserable and deflective place to live in and it’s story is truly horrifying. I was one of the first settlers to come to Jamestown, specifically, I was part of the first hundred. My names is Albert. In case you’re not aware of it’s location, we lived near the banks of the James River in Virginia. We arrived on May 13, 1607 and built Jamestown, named after King James I. We were sent there to establish a settlement that would provide wealth to the English by discovering gold and silver before the Spanish expansion in the New World.
