Student Appreciation Day at our junior high, Tom Baines School was a fun day of activity choosing. You could choose to go to either the games, the movies, or even dancing. I thought uneasily to myself as I walked slower around the place, there were so many lining up for dance, even though I was nervous about trying . Make a choice!! A leader like voice went in my head super loud. But I’m so nervous! Should I go to the movies or the dance! The other voice in my head sounded worryingly. Just make a choice! he told me to show that dance move to him again. He complimented me, thinking it was quite cool, and let me show one of his friends my dance spin briefly before he talked to other friends. I soon kept dancing and wandering alone again and soon was dancing next to Jasmine. Who was not paying attention to me, as she dance along to the music in her purple and baggy exercise pants.
She was a girl I was slightly familiar with, and I had known her when she had slight interest in me in 7th grade. When she got in a wide space, I saw how great her spin was compared to mine, and how hard it was to do, as she spun on one leg very rapidly in many circles. Because of that, when she notice me and talked to me, I complimented her move while I danced by myself to the music.

I looked around more and walked all over the gym showing off to ms. Simpson my dance moves when I greeted her. She thought they were actually quite nice. I wandered around looking around the gym more. I noticed between the gaps between the groups of teenagers body how there were people dancing between them. I knew they were forming dancing circles, and I joined in to watch more people dance for a moment, before I bravely went into dance
