I am a African Bush Elephant, in the African Savannah. It is currently the year 1,002,016. I have had multiple changes happen to me, but I’m not the only one that changed. My surroundings have evolved through time. The environment I live in is now all dried up. There are also less predators that I have to worry about since there is less prey for them. However it is harder to find shade in this heat and those who adapted to this climate are the fittest. My life as an elephant, unfortunately, has taken a toll into a difficult but not impossible route.

I began to worry since I know this is the time predators come out to hunt. I immediately started to sprint as fast as I could to back to my territory. I feel my legs shaking of tiredness but, finally I make it home. I quickly move and wander around to see if I see anything peculiar. I see nothing but dry land. Right off the bat the elephant starts to charge at me. I brace myself and I noticed that this is is not the most perfect thing to do. I am now charging at him too. We run into each other with the biggest “bam” I ever heard. We continued to push each other with our trunks. I feel as though I have no chance to beat him since he is bigger than me and has more strength. I now notice that I have longer tusks as I looked at them with amazement. I react as a mice and shoved my trunk up in his neck with all my might. He just stood there before he slowly dropped dead. I step back to my area behind the tree and close my eyes. I am now sleeping.

These are some of the challenges I have to face during just one day. Moving tree branches, searching for fresh water, facing a lion, and even having conflicts with other elephants are just difficult in my case. Some days I get lucky and others I don't, however I still find a solution to my struggles in this new and evolved environment. My new traits that I have recieved
