Personal Narrative: The Black Death

As I walked down the street with Ma , Ma tried to find a safe place for the both of us . It had just started. The Black Death. Ma and I were very scared. Dad had died just a few days ago. He was on a ship coming from Italy and many of the rowers died a few days after. They had brought the death to us.
I didn't understand why it all had happened to my family and I. Ma thinks that it was all because of our sins. Yet, I don’t think that as much as she does. I couldn’t help but just start to cry in these moments. Ma grabbed my hand and we kept walking.
Ma tried to cover my eyes when we walked along the dead bodies. I couldn't believe how many people had died. It was so horrible. I began to get very hungry. My stomach had began growling. I

I couldn't help but think that I had little time. As I ran farther and farther I saw more and more dead bodies. While I was running, I saw a bush of beautiful flowers. I started to get closer and closer. Then I picked up the gorgeous posy. Posies have always been my favorite flowers. I started to grab a whole bunch and put them near my nose and walk around the dead bodies .
As soon as I left the dead bodies, I put the posies in my pocket.
I then saw a little boy sitting on a chair. I wondered if he all by himself as well. I start running towards him and then stop. His body had fallen on the floor. I gasped. The little boy had a big egg-sized groin on his whole body. He had dark spots on him as well. This boy looked hideous.
I took the flowers out of my pocket and put them on my nose. All of a sudden,I saw more and more kids. They had looked a little younger my age. I walked toward them and saw that they were singing a song and spinning in circles.
“Ring around the rosy, a pocketful of posies, ashes, ashes we all fall down,” They sang.
The little group would repeat the song over and over again. Until, one kid had fallen down. I was a little scared seeing these kids dying and not even
